Michaela Lumpert

Communications Specialist

Michaela is a skilled communications professional and storyteller with experience in social media strategy, content creation, and digital media management. Michaela is excited to serve the Western North Carolina community in her role as communications specialist at Impact Health.

Before joining our team, Michaela worked as the digital communications associate for Marietta City Schools, where she developed content to share the district’s priorities with the local community. Her work focused on discovering strategic ways to communicate with key stakeholders while curating people-focused stories that highlighted the strengths of the Marietta City Schools education system.

Michaela has a bachelor’s degree in communication with a specific focus on journalism and storytelling. Raised in Marietta, GA, Michaela recently moved to Asheville to follow her passion for community service and to be closer to her parents who are pursuing their lifelong dream of running a bed and breakfast. Outside of work, Michaela loves to spend her time exploring her new home in Weaverville with her boyfriend and their husky, Charlie.
