Hannah Erickson

Senior Director of Operations & Business Development

Hannah is a human-centered designer and project leader for innovative social programs operating in complex, under-resourced environments. Prior to joining Impact Health, Hannah worked with communities in the United States and Tanzania.

In Kansas, Hannah was the Director of a program that offered Title 1 students wraparound social services through a network of community-based organizations. In Hawaii, Hannah served the Boy Scouts of America as one of the first female Program Directors in the nation. In New York, she worked alongside a visionary superintendent to address an enrollment crisis in a failing, rapidly gentrifying school district. The campaign that Hannah engineered played a large part in the district’s herculean turnaround. New York City’s Department of Education declared the campaign an Enrollment Best Practice; it has been replicated across all but one borough in NYC. In Tanzania, Hannah worked with community stakeholders to create, implement and lead a wide variety of transformative education programs. Her most recent program has been regionally recognized as indispensable to youth education programming in the community and has resulted in important national policy changes in the education and health sectors.

She is thrilled to be a part of Impact Health’s innovative Pilot Program and is looking forward to getting to know the communities of WNC and supporting the Human Services Organizations that work tirelessly to serve them. Hannah has family in Asheville and can’t wait to camp, hike, kayak and explore WNC with them.

Hannah received two Bachelors of Arts from Wichita State University in International Studies and Analytic Philosophy and a Master of Arts from Columbia University’s Teachers College. She’s a super nerd, traveler, connector and writer.
