Christy brings over eight years of experience in case management to her role as community engagement manager at Impact Health. In this role, she is excited to collaborate with multiple agencies, increase community capacity to support health-related social needs, and contribute to the growth of the HOP program overall.
Prior to joining Impact Health, Christy oversaw pilot program implementation at Macon Program for Progress (MPP) where she helped connect clients to HOP services. She also worked as a case manager for both MPP and the Swain County Department of Social Services. Christy is passionate about equipping others with the resources and tools needed to set them up for success. She is a strong advocate for improving the wellbeing of others.
Originally from Robbinsville, NC, Christy has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and recently received certifications in grant writing and Mental Health First Aid for Adults. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and reading.
