Our Team

Cynthia has been a dedicated member of the Western North Carolina (WNC) healthcare community for over 25 years. As senior director of contracting and finance at Impact Primary Care Network (IPCN) she continues serving the people of the region by cultivating collaboration among healthcare providers, payors, and human service organizations.

In her most recent role as director of provider and payor relations for Impact Health, Cynthia was an essential part of the team tasked with developing and planning IPCN. Her knowledge of and passion for WNC’s healthcare needs helped drive the exploration of the need for a regionally based, person-centered clinically integrated network.

Formerly the director of operations at Mission Health Partners, Cynthia brings a wealth of experience to her new role. She also served as vice president at the former Mission St. Joseph’s Hospital System and assistant vice president with Mutual of Omaha Insurance Companies. While at the Mutual of Omaha, Cynthia directed their group long-term care product and federal and state policy development. She started her career with Price Waterhouse in Chicago, consulting primarily with teaching hospitals and health maintenance organizations.

Cynthia earned her bachelor’s degree in health planning administration from Penn State University and her master’s in health systems management from RUSH University in Chicago. She has served as the president and chair of the Western North Carolina Down Syndrome Alliance and currently chairs the Employer of Record Provider Advisory Committee with Vaya Health. Cynthia and her husband, Keith, have raised three children and called WNC home since 1995. They live in Fairview with their son, Eli.
