Tamara brings a deep passion for initiatives that create meaningful change within communities to her role as executive assistant for programs. Her diverse background includes many years’ experience in event coordination, stakeholder engagement, and process optimization. At Impact Health she plays a key role in coordinating workflow and providing essential administrative support to the director of programs, facilitating internal partnerships, communications, and the planning of meetings and events.
Tamara has a background in managing complex calendars and events, providing executive-level support, and engaging with stakeholders. She has successfully overseen procurement and budget management, streamlined processes, and maintained thorough documentation. Additionally, her expertise in coordinating travel and expenses, fostering collaboration across departments, and building strong relationships has equipped her well for this new opportunity at Impact Health.
Tamara holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial-organizational psychology from Purdue University and was honored to serve as the staff senate representative for the University of Central Florida’s College of Medicine for a four-year term.
Outside of work, Tamara loves spending time outdoors and prioritizes fitness, but most of all, she treasures moments with her family, dogs, and chickens. Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, she spent years in Central Florida raising her three boys—her greatest pride and joy—before relocating to Western North Carolina nearly two years ago.
