Her expertise lies in empathy-based human resources, an essential for the social services industry.
Leigh Anne’s previous positions at organizations such as YWCA of Asheville, Homeward Bound of WNC, and North Carolina Outward Bound School highlight her dedication to people-centered HR practices and mission-driven work. Her work consistently integrates strategic operations with compassionate support. Whether she is collaborating with executives during financial audits or enhancing employee engagement through thoughtful onboarding and recognition programs, she brings both structure and heart to every aspect of HR.
Leigh Anne holds a Master’s Degree in nonprofit administration and leadership from Cleveland State University, providing her with extensive knowledge regarding the intricate and often complex management of people-serving organizations. She has held multiple roles where as the sole HR representative managing all facets of the department. Beyond her most recent position, she has built her career in social services and has a profound passion for mission-driven work.
Originally from rural Ohio, Leigh Anne has resided in Western North Carolina since relocating eight years ago with her husband, an Asheville native. Along with their two children and dog, Penny, they can be found balancing soccer trainings and play practices or exploring trails in the beautiful WNC mountains.
