Amanda joined Impact Health shortly before the Healthy Opportunities Pilot (HOP) launched and has been instrumental in building our network of more than 60 community-based organizations. She brings over 20 years of experience working directly with clients and building programs in the human services field, including behavioral health, domestic violence, and disaster recovery.
As the senior director of social care network, Amanda remains in regular contact with external stakeholders, including community-based organizations, health plans, care managers, and subject-matter experts, to design and implement programs that connect clients to HRSN services.
Prior to joining Impact Health, Amanda spent nine years helping community members connect to a variety of resources to address critical social care needs. This experience gave her tremendous insight into our region’s needs and the local agencies working to address them.
Before settling in WNC, Amanda lived in Mississippi, where she worked to connect community members with affordable housing and domestic violence prevention resources.
Amanda has a Master of Social Work degree and a certificate in nonprofit management from Boston University. She has called WNC home for over a decade and loves raising her young children in the mountains.
