Stephanie brings a wealth of expertise to Impact Health, blending an extensive 25-year background in accounting and financial management with a decade dedicated to the nonprofit sector. As the Accounting Manager, she oversees financial activities and ensures the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial data – a task she carries out with a genuine passion for contributing to an organization that fosters hope amongst its employees and community.
Before Impact Health, Stephanie held pivotal positions as Finance Director and CFO for Not for Profit organizations for the past 10 years. Her impactful tenure at the Asheville Jewish Community Center in Western North Carolina saw her actively involved in various roles, notably leading the center’s capital campaign and orchestrating the expansion that included a new year-round aquatics facility. She also earned her master’s degree in business administration from Western Carolina University.
Beyond her professional endeavors at Impact Health, Stephanie is committed to community service as a youth mentor where she guides and empowers students toward successful futures.
Since settling in WNC in 2007, Stephanie lives near Mars Hill with her partner, Andrew. She loves to bake, watch movies, and read about anything and everything. As soon as the weather is warm enough, Stephanie enjoys spending time outside in the garden and hiking new trails.
