Our Team

Born and raised on the tropical island of Fiji, Punam found her way to the cascading waterfalls and the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville after time in California, where she co-owned and operated an organic food distribution business for 12 years and became passionate about health and wellness. Building the business from the ground up allowed her to fully experience every aspect of the business, from training employees to managing accounts and increasing sales.

Having grown up in a close community, she has sought that same connection for her daughter. In Asheville, she found that community through doing racial equity work, which has included working with the Colorful Pages Coalition to increase racial awareness and education by enhancing local school libraries and partnering with UNCA to elevate young Black leaders in our community.

Punam loves spending time with her daughter, chasing waterfalls and butterflies in nature, reading and connecting with friends and family, near and far.
